Once again the Year 11 had a fantastic time at this year’s prom. Hosted by Gisborough hall and with the theme of Alice in Wonderland, the Year 11 really did end their time at Freebrough in style!
Thanks to the excellent fundraising efforts by the prom committee, the students were treated to a 2 course meal followed by; a sweet cart, lots of dancing and of course everyone’s favourite the photo booth!
Creative Monkey, our Post 16 student run business, were on hand to take those ‘more formal’ photos as souvenirs to remember the fantastic night!
At Freebrough Academy we have a broad and varied enrichment programme. Activities run from 2.45pm – 3.45pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The Academy provides a late bus so that all students can get home safely. We have activities involving; performing and creative arts, sports, technology, languages, life skills and many more. All students are welcome just come along after school.
For more details check out the Enrichment @ Freebrough Academy page and the current enrichment timetable.
An exciting new service is being launched here at Freebrough Academy; an electronic payment system, a convenient and secure way for parents to pay for their child’s school meals online. This system is called sQuid and will be available shortly. No more need to carry cash, simple, secure and safe, that’s sQuid.
Please keep checking here on our ‘Latest News’ section for updates and information on how parents can access the service.

In July 2015, 44 Freebrough Academy students travelled to Paris for a trip of a lifetime. Every year the Business & Enterprise/Modern Foreign Language faculty offer students the opportunity to visit a foreign country and this year the location was Paris, France. The group travelled to France by coach and then through the Eurotunnel and despite travelling through the night were in high spirits ready to sightsee the next day.
