Re-Introducing Frog Resources

Frog is a learning and resources hub that will allow your child to access school resources and home learning from most types of devices (e.g. iPad, Kindle Fire, laptop etc.) which connect to the internet. The content is constantly under review and development so there will be new items added frequently.

As you are aware we are developing our PRIDE values at the moment and are introducing more ways in which we can promote independent learning habits amongst our students. Frog is an excellent tool for this.

All home learning tasks will now be set via Frog. Students will access this from the following web address.

https://frog.freebroughacademy.org

or

by clicking on the Frog icon  on the homepage of the school website.

Students will log in using their school username and password. Paper based tasks are still available and home learning can still be completed on paper and handed to the teacher as normal but the task will always appear on Frog.

We are currently developing the parent site which will allow you to log in and check what home learning tasks have been set and also view other important information about your child. As soon as we are ready to launch this you will be offered the opportunity to attend a workshop to support you in how to use it effectively.

Please note that students are still able to access Frog in the Learning Resources Centre after school during the enrichment period.

This is a very exciting and invaluable resource for students of Freebrough Academy and if you have an queries regarding this then please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely
