Freebrough Academy are linking up with Volleyball England to set up a long term project aimed at giving the students and the local community the chance to learn and play volleyball. The sessions will be led by Anthony Laffan, a current award winning national coach, who is leading the way in developing inclusive volleyball. Anthony is also the Head Coach for the national league side North Riding Eagles.

Adults – £5.00

Free to any teaching staff at Freebrough.

Volleyball is the world’s second most popular team sport and the number one professional sport for women. One of the reasons why it is so popular is that all ages and abilities can play and mix together.

Anthony has successfully coached local players to regional and international level but always insists enjoying sport is the main focus. He is looking forward to working with Freebrough’s excellent PE department, in providing exciting volleyball opportunities for the current students and the wider community.
