University Explained – Parent and Carer Conference

The Palatine Centre, Durham University

Saturday 4 June 2016, 9.30 am – 2.15 pm

The North East raising Aspiration Partnership is running a joint event between the five universities in the North East. University Explained is a conference for Parent and Carers to allow them to discuss options with university colleagues.

The programme will offer a range of information sessions that address common questions such as:

  • Which course and university?
  • What happened during the application process?
  • What financial and transitional support is offered for students?
  • What are the career options?

The event is aimed at parents/carer of pupils who are currently in Year 10, 11, or 12/first year college, but open to anyone who has an interest in finding out more about university.
