It was a Christmas Extravaganza!

The Performing and Creative Arts faculty organised a fantastic evening of dance, drama, music, art and stalls, getting everyone into the festive spirit on Thursday 8 December 2016.

It was brilliant to see so many people from the community at our school, manning stalls and we hope to work with them at future events. Our Freebrough students used their enterprising skills, working alongside our staff, hosting their own stalls. From hot dogs to Christmas decorations, there was something there for everyone to enjoy and the huge variety of products proved successful.

Well done to our talented students from dance, drama and music, who provided a night of entertainment. Other thanks goes to all the staff members who helped organise the event, everyone who attended and project groups for all of your effort decorating and helping with the stalls.

The man himself, Santa made a quick stop off at Freebrough on his travels for our Santa’s Grotto, which was the most attended with a large queue for most of the night.

“I enjoyed singing along to the music, it made me feel Christmassy.”

“I liked performing because it was fun to see people’s reactions and it was great to be applauded because I knew people enjoyed it.”

Keep an eye out on our website for future events.
