Key Stage 3 Curriculum

The curriculum on entry to the Academy builds upon the best practice in the primary phase.  The learning is structured to enable the students to work as a whole class, in groups and independently.  It provides them with opportunities to acquire knowledge and understanding through the discrete subjects.

During Years 7 and 8, students will study a broad and balanced curriculum which includes English, maths and science. Students will also study a range of expressive arts subjects, geography, history, religious education, computer science, technology subjects, a modern foreign language and physical education.
