Station Hotel raises money towards funding sports wheelchair for student

As part of the British Cycling Series Cup, The East Cleveland Klondike Grand Prix on Sunday 02 April 2017 will involve not only the biggest teams and riders, but the whole of the community. They are asking everyone to get involved, with many local businesses holding activities especially for the event.

The Station Hotel in Loftus will be open from 11.00 am serving food, tea and cakes. We would like to thank them for their generosity and kindness as all of the profits will be donated to helping Josh, Y9 Freebrough student to purchase a sports wheelchair.

Josh loves all sport but has found that wheelchair basketball is his forte and now plays for the Tees Valley Titans, travelling all over the country for competitions. He therefore needs a professional sports wheelchair which will enable him to continue to flourish in the sport he loves.

Josh is so excited at the prospect of having his own sports wheelchair, which will enable him to progress through the ranks at his local wheelchair basketball club.
