Freebrough Records Day

Wednesday 29th June, 2011 was a very challenging day as 50 students
took part in the annual records day, to try and smash the previous
records set by other students. We interviewed Miss Deakin our
PE teacher on her views of records day.

Chloe/Hannah: How many students took part in records day?

Miss Deakin: About 50 students took part overall.

Chloe/Hannah: What events were students competing in?

Miss Deakin: All the athletic events in track and field.

Chloe/Hannah: How many records were smashed all together?

Miss Deakin: They were four relays, one high jump, one 100m sprint, one
Javelin, one discus, one long jump and two shot putt.

Chloe/Hannah: Were you pleases with the results of records day?

Miss Deakin: I was pleased with the amount of records broken
but would have liked more students to have competed in the events.
