Academy uniform consultation

Members of the Freebrough Parlimament have been working to develop the current uniform with the intention of improving its professional appearance in line with the Academy’s values as a school community and were presented with a simple brief to improve the professional appearance of our uniform, keeping the quality high and cost as low as possible.

Parents have been provided with an Academy Uniform consultation letter and flyer showing the new uniform proposal with a request to make any comments in writing to Freebrough Academy prior to 18 April 2018. We will contact parents after that date, along with details of the ordering process for the uniform items.

Hard-hitting performance

The Y9 Drama students performed on Thursday 22 March 2018 to family, peers and teachers.

Their performance was about the dangers of fighting in schools and explored the truth that ‘one punch can kill.’ It was thoughtful, heart-warming and a tribute to any parent that has lost a child in this terrible way.

“Well done Year 9, I am so proud of you!” – Mrs Skidmore, Drama Teacher
