Y10 Raising Achievement Event

You are invited to a ten minute one-to-one meeting with your child’s subject teachers to discuss strengths and progress, attend a short presentation, advice on home/independent learning skills and have the opportunity to collect and take away revision material for each subject area.

What is a raising achievement event?

We have changed the way we approach parents evening as we have learnt from the success of previous events held in the Academy and taken on board feedback from parents.  They will now include:

• A short presentation on changes in education, revision techniques, and tips to support your child through their examinations
• Appointments with subject teachers for a ten minute one to one meeting to discuss strengths, progress to date and next steps required for each child
• The opportunity to collect and take away revision materials for each subject area
• Advice on home learning to enable independent learning skills to be developed, leading to greater academic success
