On 15 September 2016, Year 10 photography students visited the MIMA art gallery in Middlesbrough to learn from a variety of exhibitions on show. An exhibition entitled ‘extra{ordinary}’ comprised of photographs showing the extraordinary things to be found in the ‘reality and surreality of everyday life’.

Time 4 You counselling service shares exciting news
Some exciting news from our Time 4 You Psychological counselling services this month – we are delighted to announce that Sandra Bell, the Managing Director of Time 4 You, has been appointed as an Executive Member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), Children and Young People’s division which acts as an expert consultative group for counselling young people and helps increase political awareness around the need for counselling children and young people.

KTS Academy and Freebrough join forces
Every Wednesday and Thursday Alex White, Media Technician and Daniel Watson, Apprentice (a former student from Post 16@Freebrough) are working closely with the staff and students from KTS Academy situated on St Margarets Way, Brotton.
The students and staff are transported to Post 16@Freebrough, where they have the chance to use some of the newest and best equipment for creating media i.e. film, animation and a multi-camera equipment setup.
