Step into Sport

Presenting to over 80 students, Josh Y10 student at Freebrough Academy, who is a wheelchair basketball player for the Titans and was nominated ‘Young Male Achiever’ at the North East Disability Sports Awards 2016, inspired young people (Y9+) from across the area as their local young role model. Working alongside Katy Storie, English rugby union player, the Step into Sport Leadership Training Day on Thursday 23 November 2017 involved a number of sessions delivered by both Josh and Katy.

CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA – Thursday 7 December 2017

6.00 pm – 8.00 pm 
No tickets – 50p entrance fee

On Thursday 7 December 2017, Freebrough Academy will be hosting their annual Christmas Extravaganza. The evening will involve a mixture of performances, arts and craft stalls, games, festive food and a visit from the man himself, Father Christmas.

For the 50p entrance fee you will be able to watch the performances.. drama, singing and some readings.
There will also be stalls available to purchase festive products from, so please remember to bring some extra money if you would like to buy anything.

If you would like to rent a stall for the evening (£5 each), please contact the general office. 

Latest Edition of Freebrough Flyer

Our Autumn issue of the Freebrough Flyer, a 12 page supplement in the Coastal View & Moors News is now available to view online. To view, please click the thumbnail of the front page of the flyer to open a PDF version. The flyer includes lots of great news stories about what has been happening during the last term in Freebrough Academy and our feeder primary schools. Also included are our Superstar Students for each faculty and we hope that parents/carers will congratulate their child on the recognition of their hard work and effort.
