We are proud to announce Tyrone and Luke have received the Young People’s Enterprise Award. It was one of many awards, which were presented at the Coastal View & Moor News Community Awards to celebrate the work and achievements of people in the local area.
This academic year we have made changes to the way that we structure our parents’ evenings. Now known as ‘Supporting Success’ evenings, the first of these events, which was for Year 11 parents, brought with it lots of positive feedback.

It’s not just students who need support when considering university. Parents and carers often have just as many questions about the decisions their child is making regarding higher education and most importantly, whether their decisions are the right ones.
Friday @ Freebrough is a youth club held every Friday, 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm, giving students somewhere safe to socialise with friends outside of the classroom. Students also have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities and opportunities.
This will be your opportunity as a parent to meet with your child’s tutor for a one-to-one meeting (15 minutes duration) to discuss your child’s progress in all of their subjects. Giving you the chance to review the progress made in this academic year and set individual targets for 2017/18.
